The Unforgettable Journey

I had this journey with my English Aficionados family and with Ma'am Beverly. We went to the island of "Healing Paradise" as what they call it there. It's SIQUIJOR.

I experienced a lot of first times in this journey and so let me  start from the very beginning.

 It is my first time to ride a ship or a fast-craft as they call it . And here's our picture.

I really felt excited as we were walking towards the ship. And as we got in, I saw how beautiful the sea was. It was so calm and it seems to glitter as the heat of the sun hits towards it. I could feel God's presence as I looked how magnificent His creation was. And my first step into that ship, was a dream come true.

As we reached to our destination, we rested for a while and after that we went to a public pool which is also near to the sea shore.

So as you can see above, that's the picture of the public pool. There we stayed for a while and went swimming. Then, after a few minutes, some of us went to the sea shore. However, I was not able to capture the scenery since I did not brought with me my cellphone. But the place was really beautiful, its like a paradise. And there I experienced my second first time, it wass to see and to touch a white sand. So, what I did, I lied down, closed my eyes, and felt the sand as it touched my body. I felt really really happy.

We went home and prepared for dinner. Eating together with them feels like having a big family, and I'm really glad about that for  I felt the joy fills my heart.

The next day, we had a tour.
Our first stop was in the Enchanted Balete Tree. And another first time experience happened to me, it was my first time to got near and to touch a Balete Tree since in our place we are not allowed to do so. I also experienced having a fish spa, at first I was afraid that the fish might bite me, but afterwards, it feels great and relaxing.

Then, went to a church and prayed for a while.

In our next destination, we went to Cambugahay Falls. It was a very nice scenery and funny to say, there I experienced how to be like Tarzan :). At first I felt afraid, but after I've did it, I realize that I can do it and I want to do it again.

Afterwards, we went to Salagdoong Beach. The beach was really nice and the place was clean. I felt relaxed and I could really say that Siquijor has nice beaches that could attract a lot of tourist. The entrance fee is affordable and its worth the pay. You will surely see a magnificent place that you could call a hidden paradise.

I had fun in our pictorial since it is also one of my wish to become a model. And that moment, I somehow felt how it is to be like.

The next day, we went home and before that ,we thanked the people who let us stay in their house and we even took a picture as a remembrance of their hospitality.

Thanks a lot to them because without them, our travel would not be complete.

So, before I end this journey let me share the learnings I've got.

First, I learned to be patient enough and respect other people. Second, I learned to share whatever I have to them. And lastly, I learned to accept each individuals unique characteristics and attitudes and that I need to understand them to be able to live harmoniously.

The journey was one of a kind and it left a tattoo in my heart. :)
